Just one month after Richard Herman took over its fixed income and currency markets business, Deutsche Bank AG has appointed Ahmet Arinc as its newest head of global FX.

Deutsche Bank has been one of the more active banks in terms of personnel moves, due in large part to a rapid restructuring in its FX business. Mr. Arinc is a veteran from the emerging-markets debt realm and will help manage Deutsche Bank’s currencies business, succeeding outgoing head Kevin Rodgers who retired in June.

In his new role, Mr. Arinc will be based out of London with David Wayne, the previous head of FX trading in North America, being named as the head of currency trading, reporting to Arinc.
