Citibank Names Myung-Soon Yoo as Head of Corporate Banking

Citibank Korea has appointed Myung-Soon Yoo as its newest head of corporate banking.

Citibank Korea, a South Korean affiliate of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C), has appointed Myung-Soon Yoo as its newest head of corporate banking, following a brief stint at rival JPMorgan & Chase (NYSE:JPM), according to her Linkedin profile.

Citigroup (NYSE:C) has been busy lately with a number of key appointments in Asia, recently naming ex-Bank of America Merrill Lynch executive, Catherine Cai, as its Head of China investment banking as well as its China chairman.

Mr. Yoo rejoins Citibank after just one year at JPMorgan in Seoul, where she served as its head of corporate banking and managing director. Prior to JPMorgan, Miss Yoo also worked at Citibank in South Korea as its managing director, dating back to early 2009.

Collectively, Miss Yoo holds nearly three decades of banking experience – she will begin his new role as Citibank Korea’s head of corporate banking on June 1, 2015.
