Citibank Enlists Lum Choong Yu as Hong Kong Head of Lending

Citibank (NYSE:C) has added to its Hong Kong Operations, recruiting Lum Choong Yu as its newest head of Hong Kong Cards business and unsecured lending, whose appointment is effective immediately, according to a recent Reuters report

Last week, Citigroup Citibank (NYSE:C) found itself staring at a notable void in its New York sales business, after its Managing Director and Head of North American sales, John Gallo, parted ways with the bank.

In his new role as the head of Hong Kong cards, Mr. Choong Yu will be tasked with managing and formulating product, sales and business development strategy for Citibank’s (NYSE:C) unsecured lending portfolio suite.

He joins Citibank’s (NYSE:C) Hong Kong operations from the company’s Malaysian office, having worked there for over a decade as the Malaysian country's head of sales and distribution.
