Cinnober has continued its string of hires in Q2 2017, this time on-boarding financial services specialist Ninni Pramdell as its newest Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The hire follows a number of developments for the group already in 2017 as it looks to expand its focus into various segments.

Ms. Pramdell will step into the newly created CFO position later this year in September after serving in a similar role at Palette Software. She joins Cinnober at a key juncture for the company, given its recent focus and its formation of a new subsidiary last month. The subsidiary itself will provide contextual surveillance and insightful Analytics for exchanges and regulators, across the buy- and sell-side – company veteran Alastair Goodwin was tasked to lead the newly formed entity.

For her part, Ms. Pramdell has had a decorated career across multiple financial services venues in the industry, with a focus on IT. As the inaugural Group CFO, she will be responsible for both the oversight and management of the overall company’s group financials, which includes all Cinnober subsidiaries.

The Sweden-based provider of Exchange and real-time clearing technology has been experiencing steady growth, as indicated by its most recent financial results that saw an increase from 2016. For the full year of 2016, Cinnober reported net sales of 330.9 million Swedish krona (SEK), or roughly $36.9 million, up 10 percent year-over-year from SEK 300.5 million ($33.5 million) reported in the year prior. Ms. Pramdell will be assuming command of the group’s finances during a healthy period for Cinnober and its subsidiaries.

Ninni Pramdell

She joins Cinnober after less than a year at Palette Software, having worked as its CFO. She has also had senior positions at DIBS Payment Services as its CFO, Orc Group as its Head of Business Control, and Neonet Securities as its Head of Business Control, among others dating back to 2001, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.

Veronica Augustsson, CEO of Cinnober, commented: “Ninni has great, solid experience from several international tech companies, and I warmly welcome her to Cinnober. Since we are growing and expanding our business, we need to expand our finance function as well. I am very happy that Anna Märta Göransson will continue to fulfill her assignment as CFO for Cinnober’s core business. With Ninni as a part of our finance team, we will have the strength we need to continue to expand within our exciting growth areas.”
