CBOE Holdings Promotes Andy Lowenthal to SVP

CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) has elevated Andy Lowenthal from the role of Vice President to Senior Vice President (SVP), Business Development, according to a CBOE statement.
Mr. Lowenthal’s promotion has occurred amidst a restructuring of CBOE’s business development efforts across an ever-growing suite of futures, options products, and services, along others.
In his new role as the SVP of CBOE, Mr. Lowenthal’s will see his responsibilities augmented to now include business development functions of the CBOE Futures Exchange Exchange An exchange is known as a marketplace that supports the trading of derivatives, commodities, securities, and other financial instruments.Generally, an exchange is accessible through a digital platform or sometimes at a tangible address where investors organize to perform trading. Among the chief responsibilities of an exchange would be to uphold honest and fair-trading practices.
