Cappitech On-Boards Ido Pickel in Senior Sales Role

Ido Pickel joins Cappitech from BondIT, helping grow the group's regulatory reporting solution.

Cappitech, a financial technology boutique offering bespoke trading and reporting solutions to both the buy- and sell-side, has secured the services of Ido Pickel in a new senior sales role, Finance Magnates has learned.

Mr. Pickel joins Cappitech from BondIT, having worked as its Vice President of Business Development Sales for over three years. In his new role at Cappitech, he will be tasked with helping foster and develop the group’s regulatory reporting capabilities.

In particular, Mr. Pickel will be an integral component of Cappitech’s regulatory reporting team, which will emphasize growth in its market share, also focusing on onboarding new client types amidst a general expansion effort.

Mr. Pickel also comes over to Cappitech with experience in the ASIC and MiFID reporting space, which will help bolster the group’s existing EMIR regulation solution. Prior to working at BondIT in 2013, he also held several roles at Vegalink Technologies and Leader Capital Markets, dating back to 2007, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

According to Mr. Pickel in a recent statement on the appointment: “I am excited to be joining Cappitech. The firm is a market leader of regulation reporting technology in a fast growing industry. Having in the fintech industry, I was impressed with Cappitech’s technology and know-how.”
