Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. has announced the addition of Steven Bisgay as its newest Chief Financial Officer (CFO), having joined from

cantor fitzgerald logoCantor Fitzgerald L.P. has announced the addition of Steven Bisgay as its newest Chief Financial Officer (CFO), having joined from KCG Holdings Inc., where he worked in a similar role.

In his new role as CFO, Mr. Bisgay will be reporting to Howard W. Lutnick, Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P. He will be tasked with managing all internal and external responsibilities for Cantor’s businesses, where he will be based in New York.

Mr. Bisgay is replacing Douglas Barnard, who is slated to retire at the end of Q1 2015 following nine years as CFO. He joins from KCG Holdings where he worked as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

According to Mr. Lutnick in a recent statement on the appointment, “Steve brings to Cantor a unique blend of extremely valuable skills and experience both as a world-class CFO in the financial markets, and as a highly-accomplished corporate strategist. We look forward to having Steve as a key member of the executive leadership team and leveraging his financial expertise as we expand our businesses and markets.
