Longtime Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) veteran Russell Hodges has been promoted to the role of Head of eFX Business Promotion, whose appointment is tendered with immediate effect, Finance Magnates has learned.
Mr. Hodges steps into the role of BTMU’s Head of eFX Business Promotion following a lengthy career in the financial services industry, spanning over a decade. For the past four years, he has been based out of London, having worked at BTMU in a number of senior level positions – this includes stints across the bank’s eFX operations, including its eFX Product Manager for nearly two years.

Prior to joining BTMU in 2011, Mr. Hodges was the Director of Liquidity at FXall, with additional appointments at Standard Bank and Citigroup, having focused on FX/MM and Fixed Income, among other avenues dating back to 2002, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
Earlier today, BTMU Ltd, the banking subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, appointed Ed Langendam as its Managing Director, who is slated to join the group on January 4, 2016. In his new role as the Managing Director of Corporate Banking at BTMU, Mr. Langendam will be focusing on the bank’s German operations, whilst dividing his time between Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.
