BofA Merrill Lynch Names Steinberg as Head of Structured Solutions

Bank of America Corp's (BofA) Merrill Lynch has brought in ex-Credit Suisse Group AG executive Lewis Steinberg.

Bank of America Corp’s (BofA) Merrill Lynch has brought in ex-Credit Suisse Group AG executive Lewis Steinberg as its newest head of structured solutions for the group’s American operations.

Back in February, BofA Merrill Lynch appointed Kenji Abe as its chief Japan equity strategist, following his departure from Citi after a nearly five year tenure in a similar role.

In his new role as BofA Merrill Lynch’s head, Mr. Steinberg will focus on both American business operations and the bank’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) – he will be beginning his new role only in May.

Prior to landing at BofA Merrill Lynch, Mr. Steinberg served as the Managing Director at Credit Suisse for nearly five years, focusing on strategic advisory and M&A. Before this he also worked for five years in a similar role.
