AxiTrader has announced the appointment of Greg McKenna as the Australian broker’s newest Chief Market Strategist, who joins the team with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry.
In his new role as the Chief Market Strategist at AxiTrader, Mr. McKenna will help focus on augmenting the broker’s market information capabilities, specifically in relation to clients, while also generating a diverse blend of market reports, updates, and analyses for the company’s overall clientele in Asia and Europe.

Mr. McKenna has spent the multitude of his career as a currency strategist, consultant, and premier researcher. Past stops include Westpac, the National Australia Bank (NAB), and Business Insider, among others. The vast majority of his positions have been relegated to the field of foreign exchange (FX).
According to AxiTrader’s General Manager, Alex MacKinnon, in a recent statement on the appointment: “Analysts with Greg’s experience and recognition are highly sought after, so the fact that he’s elected to partner with AxiTrader exclusively over other brokers serves to reinforce our strength in the market.”
“We’re focused on ensuring our clients have the best tools to succeed with their trading, whether that be in technology, customer service or access to high quality information. With Greg consistently delivering top market insights, we look forward to bringing those directly to our rapidly growing global audience. With Greg coming on board, I genuinely believe our clients will be getting a lot of extra value they won’t get with any other broker,” he added.
