Applied Financial Taps Solvej Rendtorff as its NY-Based Senior Consultant

Ms. Rendtorff joins Applied Financial after a highly decorated career in the industry.

Applied Financial Solutions, LLC, a comprehensive risk management service provider, has tapped Solvej Rendtorff as its newest Senior Consultant, based out of New York, Finance Magnates has learned.

The group boasts a solution suite that deals primarily with risk management, quantitative research, systematic trading systems, process engineering, and other financial modeling, across most asset classes. The addition of Rendtorff follows after another relatively recent high profile move at Applied Financial – back in September, Applied Financial Solutions brought in veteran financial services specialist John Beckert to serve as its newest Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following a lengthy tenure at First Derivatives.

Ms. Rendtorff joins Applied Financial after a lengthy tenure in the industry that has seen her man a number of key roles at leading venues. Her most recent position was at Solidus Investments where she served as its Director in Singapore for almost three years. Throughout the duration of her career she has worked in several diverse roles, ranging from business development sales to sales and project management.

Additional stops also include positions as a Director, Business Development at Effex Capital, Chief Representative Officer at CHF Group, Sales Director and Head of Oceania as well as an Institutional Sales and Product Specialist at OANDA – APAC, and Project Manager, Head of Inst. IT & Project Management at Saxo Bank, dating back to 2000, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.
