In his new role as the COO, Mr. Galliers will be based out of AlphaDesk’s London location. In this capacity he will help steer the group’s operations, leaning on his years of executive expertise at SunGard (now FIS) – he steps into his new position with immediate effect.
Mr. Galliers lands at AlphaDesk after a twelve-year career at SunGard that dates back to 2004. During his tenure with the group he held such positions as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operations and Global Sales, as well a stint as its Executive VP of Capital Markets, among others, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

According to AlphaDesk CEO Dan Rissin in a recent statement on the appointment: “Kevin is a seasoned professional with an exceptional track record. He has a deep understanding of clients’ financial technology needs, acquired through decades of experience working for successful software vendors. With Kevin’s appointment we now have the international expertise to transform AlphaDesk into a truly global operation.”
“Over the coming weeks we will be firming up our plans and making further announcements about how we will support our growing international customer-base, how we work with industry partners and how we will take a leadership position in setting a vision, as a service provider, for the industry.
