AJ Murphy Joins Bank of America as Co-Head of Leveraged Finance

Goldman Sachs found itself absent its leveraged finance executive, following the recruitment of AJ Murphy to Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA) – Mr. Murphy will serve as the co-head of global leveraged finance.
Mr. Murphy joins Bank of America after a brief stint at Goldman Sachs where he worked as the co-head of leveraged finance in the Americas, along with fellow co-head Craig Parker. He had previously worked at Bank of America prior to joining Goldman Sachs.
In his new role as co-head of leveraged finance, Mr. Murphy will manage operations together with Robert Schleusner.
