Swiss multi-asset brokerage Swissquote has announced that Adrian Bult, a member of the board of directors, has decided to step down from his position after eight successful years. Mr. Bult, acknowledged expert on the Swiss ICT industry, will remain on the board of directors for additional six months but will not seek re-election at the next annual general meeting on May 12, 2017.
Since 2008, Adrian has been an active board member and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. Previously, Mr. Bult, aged 57, served as COO of Avaloq Evolution AG, Zurich. Prior to that, he held several leading positions within the Swisscom Group, the last one being CEO of Swisscom Mobile AG and member of the group’s management.

Earlier in his career, Adrian worked for IBM’s banking division, where he was initially tasked with operations for Switzerland and then also for Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
As of April 2017, Adrian Bult will take over as Chairman of the Board in the Bank Council of the Basler Kantonalbank (BKB).
Adrian holds a degree in business administration and marketing from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and has extensive management experience in Swiss ICT companies.
