A company that offers Bitcoin Cash trading without an internet connection has raised $600,000 in seed funding.
The company is called CoinText. The transactions work via mobile phone text messages. Opening a wallet entails users texting a certain word to the access number for their regions, or just receiving money from another user.

The main funding came from a company called Yeoman's Capital, a venture capital company in Texas. According to its website, it has invested in blockchain companies like Factom, BnkToTheFuture, and Rivetz. David Johnston, Managing Director of Yeoman’s Capital, said: “CoinText has the potential to drive the next wave of mass crypto adoption because onboarding new users is as simple and seamless as sending a text message."
