The partnership will last throughout the 2016/2017 season and according to estimates made by some industry insiders could be worth up to £300,000 ($400,000). The brokerage will be dubbed the “official trading partner” of Southampton FC.

The Commercial Director at Southampton Football Club, David Thomas, shared in the official announcement: “Our passion to engage with supporters matches the desire of Banc De Binary to ensure their clients are given the very best when it comes to binary options trading. That is just one of the reasons why we feel this will be a very exciting partnership. We hope that our fans and clients of Banc De Binary will be able to benefit from our work together over the course of the next year.”

The deal is aiming to expand the reach of the binary options brokerage across the UK market, with the fanbase of Southampton focused largely in the United Kingdom. Banc De Binary is continuing its sports sponsorship effort which started last year with Liverpool FC, an agreement which the company will not be extending.
