Denis Golomedov, the Chief Marketing Officer of RoboMarkets, has resigned from the position after five and a half years. His LinkedIn profile shows he left the role last month.

Golomedov joined RoboMarkets in Cyprus in August 2017 and has been responsible for the planning, development and execution of the retail forex and CFD broker’s marketing and advertising initiatives. However, the executive has taken up the position of Chief Marketing Officer at another undisclosed private company, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“During my journey in the company (RoboMarkets), [I] built a full-circle marketing department from scratch,” Golomedov wrote on LinkedIn.

The executive boasts of over two decades of industry experience in roles, such as marketing, business communication, technology strategy and web software development. Before joining RoboMarkets, he was the Head of the Quant Department at FxPro Group in Cyprus between 2014 and 2016. He joined the online broker as an IT Analyst in August 2013.

At FxPro, Golomedov said he “built a strong team from scratch to provide tailored professional services for the SuperTrader investment platform.”

Golomedov’s Professional Experience

Between 2000 and 2011, Golomedov spent the earlier days of his career in roles based in Moscow, Russia. He ran his own company, ROKKOT, between April 2011 and August 2013 building a strong software development team. In addition, he worked as the Head of IT at Megapolis between 2006 and 2010.

Furthermore, he worked at NorthFinance, a financial services company that provides finance, banking and online trading services, for almost five years between 2001 and 2006. He first served as a Senior IT Technician, then as Head of IT and later as the Head of Marketing.

During the beginning of his career, Golomedov worked as a Webmast and SEO specialist for ISI, developing multiple websites and web-based marketing efforts. In addition, he served as a System Administrator & Online Game Manager at Internet Club CyberQuest for four months in 2000.

RoboMarkets Expands Services

Meanwhile, RoboMarkets operates as a multi-asset broker with a European license. The brokerage firm is registered in Cyprus and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.

In recent months, the broker has made efforts to boost its presence in the industry. In late 2022, the broker emerged as the title sponsor of Cyprus’ volleyball team. Earlier in that year, the company launched RM Invesment Bank, which is regulated by the Labuan Financial Service Authority. In addition, the retail broker in mid-2022 unveiled RoboMarkets Pro, a new brand flagged under its German entity and targeted at professional traders.
