Match-Prime Liquidity, a provider of multi-asset liquidity, will continue to promote its brand in the sports field with the extension of its sponsorship deal with the Cypriot football club, Omonoia FC, for the 2023-2024 play season.

Match-Prime Renews Spots Sponsorship Deal

Match-Prime first inked a deal to sponsor the Cypriot football club last year. According to the latest press release shared with Finance Magnates, the branding of the liquidity provider will continue to appear on the sleeves of the football club’s official match kit.

“With Match-Prime Liquidity, we collaborated for the first time last season, and we managed to create an excellent relationship, successfully implementing the goals we had jointly set,” said Christos Hadjisoteriou, Omonoia FC’s signatory manager. “So we are continuing our second year of cooperation with the same enthusiasm and spirit.”

A Popular Cypriot Football Club

Established in 1948, Omonoia FC is a well-known football club in Cyprus. In the past few years, the team has won several national championships, making it one of the most recognizable sports teams on the island. The club is based out of Nicosia and its official stadium is the GSP Stadium, with a capacity for 22,859 spectators.

The local popularity of the club can be determined by its social media followers: it has over 48,200 followers on Instagram and around 48,000 followers on Facebook. However, it is not clear if the Match-Prime brand will receive promotional slots on the team’s social media handles.

“The club celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, has crowds of loyal fans, and a rich history,” commented Andreas Kapsos, Match-Prime’s CEO. “They have been at the highest level for years, recently won the Cypriot Cup for the second time in a row, and played against European giants, such as Manchester United. We are proud to be a part of this, as it is an excellent example to follow. Match-Prime, in the meantime, is also consolidating its position on the market among renowned Liquidity Providers and gaining new clients around the globe every day.”

Indeed, Match-Prime partnered with SquaredFinancial, FXView, and Brokeree earlier this year to enhance its offerings, Finance Magnates reported.
