Swissquote Partners with Manchester United as Global Sponsors

Swissquote has become the latest online broker to ink a sponsorship partnership with a football club as they unite with Manchester United. Terms of the deal weren’t provided by either firm, but as both companies are public entities, details could be disclosed in stock filings in the future. What is known is that the sponsorship is a multi-year agreement between the two firms. Also, Forex Magnates' sources in the past disclosed that Manchester United had been seeking an official broker partner with an estimated yearly price tag around $4.5 million. Overall, such partnerships provide brokers with the ability to identify themselves with iconic brands to enhance their own image regionally and around the world.

Commenting on the partnership, Manchester United Group's Managing Director, Richard Arnold, stated, "Swissquote are one of the top 10 largest Forex brokers in the world and are by far the strongest and most reliable competitor in the market.” He added, “Much like Manchester United, Swissquote strives for perfection, looking to innovate, influence and enhance the industry it works within by recreating the future of banking."

In the joint statement, Swissquote Chief Executive and Co-Founder Marc Burki said, “As co-founder of this company just 25 years ago, this is a very important milestone to add to our young history and it makes me realize how far Swissquote Bank has come.
