The new appointment will also aggregate a number of responsibilities from NEX Regulatory Reporting, a recently launched solution that caters to MiFID II and other regulatory regimes. As its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Murphy will be based out of London, whilst reporting to Jenny Knott, CEO of NEX Optimisation, also working in tandem with Collin Coleman, Head of NEX Regulatory Reporting.
Mr. Murphy joins NEX Optimisation with over two decades of experience in the financial services sector. Most recently, he worked at Goldman Sachs, where he served as its Managing Director for Securities Lending and Equity Finance, part of a lengthy stint extending back to 1997.
While at Goldman Sachs, he also worked as its Head of Sales Trading across Equities Equities Equities can be characterized as stocks or shares in a company that investors can buy or sell.
