JPMorgan has lost its head of Equities for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Sadiq Hussain, who resigned from the bank, according to a recent Reuters report.

Mr. Hussain will be parting ways with JPMorgan to take on a senior level role at Egypt's EFG-Hermes Asset Management. He will remain based out of Dubai, having worked in the city at JPMorgan – the bank will fill his vacancy only at the end of June, as a replacement candidate has yet to be announced.

Mr. Hussain joined JPMorgan in 2007, having helped steer the company’s equity interests in the region. Prior to JPMorgan, he previously worked at Merrill Lynch Hong Kong as its executive director of Asia Pacific (APAC) equities, as well as at ING Baring.
