GFT Group Taps John Downing as its Newest Programme Manager

GFT, a provider of business, design and technology consulting solutions to the investment banking community, has secured the services of John Downing as its Enterprise Architect and Programme Manager, according to a GFT statement.

Mr. Downing joins GFT with over two decades of experience as an entrepreneur and enterprise architect – he has also held senior roles as a Programme Manager in treasury and investment banking institutions.

Moreover, he has spent the majority of his career in investment banking, Risk Management and IT systems’ development, as well as training and competence regimes, having specialized in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process requirements.

According to Steve Lewis, Head of the Design and Technology Consulting UK in a recent statement on the appointment: “John will play an integral role in helping to propose and deliver outstanding enterprise architecture framework projects on behalf of GFT for our clients.”

“In particular, John will be instrumental in successfully implementing a range of regulatory Compliance programmes. We are excited to see John bring his wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role within the team,” he added.

Back in November, GFT group made headlines after it reported its financial revenues for the majority of the 2015-year. This included a 42% increase in its consolidated revenues for the first nine months of 2015, to $291.23 million, driven mainly by the financial service sector.
