This led to a promotion as Saxo’s Head of Emerging Markets FX and Precious Metals Trading Desk in 2005, a position he held for over six years. In this capacity he helped set up and develop the broker’s Emerging Markets (EM) FX and precious metals desk as well as fortifying a significant expansion in Saxo’s EM FX and Precious Metals trading capabilities.

In 2012 he moved to Istanbul to take on the role of CEO at Saxo Capital Markets Menkul Degerler A.S., working in this position since last August. During this time, he also held a position on Saxo’s Board of Directors until November 2015, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

Since parting ways with Saxo bank last year however, he has joined Turkish FX broker Alnus Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. In his new role he will serve as the CEO of the group, while being based out of Istanbul.
