The foreign exchange (FX) world is one that is dynamic and evolving. This trajectory has been on full display during 2018, having seen an abrupt shift in the playing field. As such, a series of leading speakers have convened from around the industry to provide themes that defined this year at Bloomberg’s Leading Forex 2018.

The event will take place on November 13 in London, bringing together a wide range of leading executives in the FX space. This includes CEOs, traders, investors, affiliates, fin-tech companies, and of course FX brokers. Prospective attendees can register here by accessing the following link.

With their combined expertise and experience, the event’s in-depth discussions will look to provide a clear perspective surrounding the FX market, as well as tomorrow's vision for leaders. The full schedule can be viewed below:

14:20

The Importance of Decision Making

This session will feature a one-on-one discussion with Richard Arnold, Manchester United Group Managing Director. Moderated by Bloomberg LP’s David Hellier, the session will delve into what sort of decisions are instrumental to success in the industry with an emphasis on forward thinking.

Panel - Leading the Charge

Leadership is consumed with how to build great teams, while adopting the right technology to ensure success for the long-term. This discussion will focus on challenges and opportunities in the forex market, and specifically how technology is innovating the way we trade, while reducing costs and opening the doors to progress and new risks at the same time. What can be gained by the new possibilities, and what risks should leadership be most concerned about.

Panelists include Swissquote’s Marc Burki, Gold-i’s Tom Higgins, FXCM’s Brendan Callan, and CFH Clearing’s Christian Frahm. The panel will be moderated by Bloomberg LP’s Justina Lee.

15:30

Panel - Forex Forward

What are the best strategies for brokers and banks to be able to scale their online trading with further EU regulated forex trading policies in place, and Brexit on the horizon? This panel will assess the limitations of moving forex onto electronic platforms, employing technologies like algorithmic trading, and how best to build an improved Risk Management strategy.

Panelists will include Swissquote’s Muamar Behnam and FXSpotStream’s Alan F. Schwarz. Charlotte Ryan from Bloomberg News will be moderating the panel.

Following the two discussions, closing remarks will be given by hosts from Bloomberg. Networking and drinks will take place directly after the event at the Networking Blitz Opening Party for Finance Magnates’ London Summit at Old Billingsgate.
