ParFX Launching Front-End Interface Powered by TradAir

ParFX, the FX interbank platform launched in April by interdealer broker Tradition, has begun to market its new front-end trading solution that is powered by TradAir. The front- end solution provides a browser-based interface for accessing ParFX market data and pricing, which until now was made only available via the industry standard FIX protocol API. The TradAir interface was built using HTML5 technology. This follows a trend of new web-based platforms that are being launched in the HTML5 environment as it provides both cross operating system, and cross-platform access. Due to the global reach of the FX market, demand for cross-system technology is rising.

In terms of features, the platform provides traders the ability to access ParFX Liquidity as well as including market data tools and account information. Liquidity providing partners can also adjust pricing that is being streamed to ParFX from the browser-based platform. The TradAir HTML5 platform uses the company’s Liquidity Optimization Management technology as it acts as a front-end to ParFX’s proprietary matching engine. The current broad release of the front-end to all ParFX clients, occurs after TradAir had been an early accredited access provider of the interbank FX platform.
