Ripple has launched a Delta One business within Ripple Prime, its multi-asset prime brokerage platform. The service is live and enables institutional clients to execute Total Return Swaps across US-listed equities, indices and digital assets.

Ripple Prime has expanded its institutional market infrastructure in recent months. Earlier this month, the company raised $275 million through a private placement of senior unsecured notes to support its growth.

It has also integrated with EDX Markets, expanding its connectivity to a regulated US equities marketplace. These developments follow Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road, which formed the basis for its multi-asset prime brokerage business.

Ripple Adds Cross-Asset Equity Derivatives

The Delta One launch adds equity derivatives to Ripple Prime’s existing prime brokerage, clearing and financing services across FX, derivatives, fixed income and digital assets.

The company said the offering is aimed at hedge funds, asset managers and other financial institutions, with support for different investment horizons, risk mandates and reporting requirements.

Clients can access the services through a single counterparty and cross-margin exposures across asset classes. Ripple Prime also offers 24/7 access, according to the company.

Ripple Prime Reports $1B Regulatory Capital

Ripple said its Delta One business uses a conflict-free execution model. It operates solely in clearing and financing and does not sit alongside market-making or proprietary trading activities.

“The launch of our Delta One business is an important development for Ripple Prime and a natural extension of the platform we’ve built,” said Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime.

Kimmel said clients can access equities, FX, derivatives, fixed income and digital asset services through one counterparty. He described the model as “cross-asset, structurally aligned, 24/7”.

Ripple said Ripple Prime has more than $1 billion in regulatory net capital, supporting its role as a counterparty in the equity derivatives market.

Ripple Prime also secured a $200 million debt facility earlier this year from funds managed by Neuberger Specialty Finance.
