Markit (Nasdaq: MRKT), a provider of financial information services, has appointed Ranjit Moses as its newest Chief Marketing Officer, according to a Markit statement.
In his new role as the chief marketing officer at Markit, Mr. Ranjit will join the group’s leadership team, where he will help steer the company’s strategy in a bid to culture organic growth.

Mr. Ranjit joins Markit with over 25 years of both marketing and communications experience. Most recently, he worked at Lombard Odier Group as its head of global marketing and communications. Prior stops include senior level roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
According to Mr. Moses in a recent statement on the appointment, “I am delighted to be joining Markit, a company that has demonstrated remarkable growth over the past 12 years. Markit’s innovative offerings create value for some of the most successful financial firms in the world. I look forward to continuing to build the Markit brand and ensuring prospects and customers fully understand the benefits the company has to offer.”
