Global Prime Partners Unveils Structured Products Business Division

The group's Structured Products division will initially offer a range of services for domestic clients in the UK.

Global Prime Partners (GPP), a provider of prime brokerage and trading services to hedge funds, asset managers and professional traders, has expanded its focus with the launch of a new Structured Products division.

The initiative follows the appointment of Mike Ward late last year which was designed to kindle an emphasis on developing an in-house franchise across derivatives-based structured securities and funds. The newly formed Structured Products division will initially target domestic clients in the UK, and will help provide clients with access to the optimal issuers of structured products combined with bespoke technology and tailored customer service.

“It’s exciting to bring this product to market and the initial reception from our clients has been extremely positive. We started to trade on launch day earlier this month. Business development continues and in the second half of 2017 we will launch our Wealth Solutions service, which will provide Wealth Managers with an integrated clearing, custody and portfolio management platform,” he added.
