The company officially kickstarted its new sports cooperation during FMLS 2023.
It is the first professional club sponsorship for the broker.
Leicester
Tigers rugby team has a new sponsor. The financial brokerage firm Tradeview Markets
will be the first-ever front-of-shirt sponsor for the Leicester Tigers team, aligning
with one of England's most successful rugby clubs. The collaboration was officially heralded during the recent Finance Magnates event in London.
Tradeview Markets
Announced as New Sponsor of Leicester Tigers Rugby Team
However,
the company first announced the deal in late August, it was formally launched
at the recent Finance Magnates London Summit (FMLS). The CEO of Tradeview Markets (Timothy Furey) the COO (Ben Sadgrove) and the Head of Global Equities (Mike Lombardo) attended the summit and met with Leicester Tigers management and players.
"This
aligns with our global strategy of working with organizations that share the
same core values: teamwork, commitment to excellence, and integrity," Furey
commented.
As part of
the visit to London, Tradeview Markets executives toured the Leicester Tigers
stadium and watched a Leicester Tigers match from the stands. According to the
new partnership agreement, Leicester Tigers rugby players also made appearances
at the Tradeview Markets booth during the FMLS event, posing for photos with
attendees.
Leicester Tigers rugby men's and women's teams with Tradeview representatives during the FMLS 2023
"We
are excited to announce Tradeview Markets have joined the club as the first
ever front of shirt partner of the club's women's programme," Oliwier
Taraszkiewicz, the Relationship Manager of Tradeview Europe, commented.
The financial
terms of the deal were not disclosed. The sponsorship agreement aims to
increase brand awareness for Tradeview Markets and support women's and men's rugby.
While
football (soccer) is the most popular sport for FX/CFD brokers to build brand
awareness, rugby is gaining traction, especially in the UK, New Zealand,
France, Wales, and Ireland where it's highly popular.
For
instance, eToro signed a three-year contract with Rugby Australia, the country's professional league, in November. eToro has engaged in similar partnerships
with rugby leagues in England and France. Earlier,
the broker IC Markets announced a collaboration with the Rugby World Cup
Sevens.
CFD brokers choose to promote their services through rugby sponsorships for a few key reasons. Firstly, rugby has an extremely loyal and dedicated fanbase that provides good brand awareness and exposure opportunities. By sponsoring top rugby teams and events, CFD brokers can get their names and logos seen by millions of passionate fans. This helps establish trust and recognition for their brands.

Paytiko CEO Razi Salih on Why Payment Orchestration is a MUST-HAVE for Brokers in 2026
At iFX Expo Dubai, Finance Magnates spoke with Razi Salih, CEO at Paytiko, about the evolution of the payments ecosystem and why payment orchestration has shifted from an option to a necessity for brokers, prop firms, and exchanges.
Mr. Salih explains how global expansion, the need for deep localisation, and the sheer number of new payment methods, from instant banking to stablecoins, are driving this critical infrastructure shift.

Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav sits down with Finance Magnates to discuss the core technology challenges facing CFD brokers and proprietary trading firms today.
Jadhav explains how the industry's reliance on batch processing and fragmented systems (where CRMs, risk tools, and trading platforms operate with separate 'sources of truth') leads to delayed data and inconsistent operational decisions. He argues that real-time event processing is essential for managing fast-moving trading activity and risk.
Learn how Altima's unified, event-driven architecture, connecting Altima CRM, Altima Prop, IB systems, and risk management through a single backbone, is designed to provide synchronous data and better operational coordination for modern brokerage and prop firm stacks.
Key Topics:
- Broker and Prop Firm Data Challenges
- The problem of delayed data processing (batch processing vs. real-time events)
- Fragmented systems and conflicting data sources
- Altima's unified, event-driven solution architecture
- The concept of a "risk-aware CRM"
- Built-in risk management in Altima Prop
