Robinhood has opened its in-app trading feed, Robinhood Social, to all eligible US customers, ending an invitation-only beta. Chief Executive Vlad Tenev confirmed the wider rollout yesterday (Tuesday) in a post on X.

Customers can now share stock and crypto charts, realized profit and loss, and portfolio allocations next to the verified trades the beta started with.

London's trading industry is coming home!

Tenev said users can also follow other traders and get news and company updates in the feed. Legend, the desktop platform Robinhood launched for active traders in October 2024, will get Social in the coming weeks, he added.

The change puts a trader-to-trader feed in front of a customer base Robinhood counted at 28.4 million funded customers at the end of June. Robinhood first pitched Social in September 2025 as a rival to Reddit's trading communities, built on posts tied to real account activity.

Posting Is Open, Copying Stays Manual

The company's own X account first said on September 29, the day of its HOOD Summit in Houston, that Social had reached all of its customers. Tenev's post followed two weeks later and added the Legend timing.

During the beta, which opened in March to about 1,000 invited customers, Robinhood kept trade copying manual and tied every profile to a verified customer. Users could see what others bought and repeat the order themselves, with no automatic mirroring.

The user agreement for the service, effective September 18, keeps that boundary. It says Social "is NOT a copy trading platform" and is not meant for giving or receiving professional investment advice.

The agreement bars securities-licensed professionals, people employed by or associated with a brokerage or stock exchange , and Robinhood staff. Customers pick which eligible trades to post, and futures and multi-leg options trades cannot be shared for now, Yahoo Finance reported.

eToro Mirrors Trades While Public Closed Its Feed

eToro took the automated route in the US. It brought CopyTrader to US investors in October 2025, letting users mirror the trades and portfolios of verified investors on its platform.

Public.com, which built its brand as a social investing app, shut its social features in June 2025. The company said AI-generated content now covers the market recaps its users used to post.

Social was one of more than 15 products Robinhood said it announced in Houston. The list also included AI trading agents and crypto perpetual futures with up to 10x leverage , which the company said would reach eligible customers over time.
