Live Squawk, an audio news service for traders, has added a dynamic audio-visual and written technical analysis to its offering. The service, which arrives on the market under the name Market Chartist, will provide daily technical analysis and commentary on Fixed Income, Equity Indexes, Commodities and G10 Currencies. Market analyst Steve Miley will deliver 21 daily reports to Live Squawk clients who have signed up for the service.
Each report enables a trader to view recent price action on a chart and listen to a brief explanation of the information, Miley’s current view and what could potentially change this outlook. The entire report can be easily downloaded and accessed while on-the-go which, thanks to the exponential increase in the usage of mobile devices, has become the norm in accessing market research.
Miley is the current holder of Technical Analyst Magazine Award for Best FX Research & Strategy. He spent the past three years as a Director of the Technical Analysis Research Strategy team at Credit Suisse and prior to that, 15 years at Merrill Lynch where he has covered all major asset classes including Rates & Credit, G10 & EM currencies, Equity Indices & Sectors and Commodities.
With regard to the launch of Market Chartist, LiveSquawk CEO and founder Harry Daniels says: “Our new audio visual Technical Analysis is an innovative move away from static charts and longwinded text and allows traders to access the information in whatever format that works best for them – audio, visual or written."
"The content and commentary from someone of Steve’s calibre will add tremendous value to a busy trader. Combined with our Fundamental News broadcasting service, our clients benefit from having a complete service from one source, that’s really easy to use – a bit like having a reassuring trader buddy in the background at all times. ”
Market Chartist will initially be made available to Live Squawk clients, however it is in its early-launch phase as a stand-alone, independent offering.
