Protrader Gets Analysis and Data Visualization Upgrade with New Charts

One thing PFSOFT has done well with their Protrader multi-asset Trading Platform is keeping it unique and distinguishing it from other platform developers. On the one hand it provides them with an edge against rivals, but on the other hand puts them at a disadvantage in the online retail trading world which is dominated by broker demand of familiar products for their customers.

As a result, Protrader has developed a niche servicing firms whose clientele have an interest in trading exchange listed products instead of CFD or Forex . Examples are regional banks that are using Protrader to offer multi-asset brokerage services to their clients and don’t compete directly with online forex and CFD brokers.

Continuing their cycle of innovating their platform, Protrader has announced a large upgrade to their charting package of 30 new features. The new charts focus on analysis and data visualization. Included are tools for measuring seasonality of prices to analyze seasonal cycles, volume visualization within individual price bars and volume distribution over specific price levels.

Roman Nalivayko, Global Head of Business Development at PFSOFT, told Finance Magnates that upgrading their charts was based on wanting to provide their user base with a single interface for both order execution and analysis. He explained that the Protrader user base is mostly composed of traders using the platform to trade exchange listed securities. Therefore, adding more analysis solutions on the product allows them to sidestep the need to also use third party analysis tools.

The chart upgrade is currently available for desktop users of Protrader, with the features expected to become available on the web based platform in the future. However, according to PFSOFT there are no plans as of yet to add the new charts to their mobile app.
