  • Spotware says firms can push an add-on to every account or list it in the Store for their own traders only.
  • Prop firms, whose MetaTrader access MetaQuotes restricted in 2024, can tailor them to their challenge rules.

Brokers and prop firms on cTrader can now pre-install their own tools for every client, Spotware Systems said today (Thursday). The Cyprus-based company opened cTrader's multi-platform plugins to services that firms build or commission themselves.

Each firm picks one of two routes. A plugin can go out automatically to all of its clients, or sit in cTrader Store, where traders at other brokers and prop firms cannot use it. The tools run on cTrader Mobile, Web, Windows and Mac and ship separately from core platform releases, Spotware said.

London's trading industry is coming home!

Automatic delivery removes the step in which each trader has to find and install an add-on in the Store.

Spotware puts the reach at 12 million traders and more than 300 brokers and prop firms, up from the 11 million users it cited when it began routing Store visitors to participating brokers in April.

Earlier Routes Into the Trading Screen

Spotware first added plugins to cTrader with version 5.0 in November 2024, pitching them as a way to connect third-party services.

Acuity Trading brought its research tools into cTrader through plugins in January 2025, with brokers able to restrict access by server and account balance.

In June 2025, Spotware presented WebView plugins that brokers could publish as Store listings for their own clients. Automatic delivery to every client is what Thursday's release adds.

On MetaTrader, Admiral Markets in 2019 put Trading Central's analysis tools into its MetaTrader Supreme Edition plugin, a desktop add-on available only to Admiral's clients.

Journals, Calculators and Challenge Rules

Spotware's list of possible services runs from AI assistants and trading journals to signals, calculators, economic calendars, client support and gamification tools.

A firm can bring an existing web tool into cTrader or have one built by an outside provider. Spotware also pointed firms to developers from the cTrader community.

Sergey Borisov, head of product development at Spotware, said brokers and prop firms "decide how their offering looks, not us."

Borisov tied the timing to AI-assisted coding, which he said lets firms ship such tools without costly integrations. In May, Spotware opened cTrader to AI agents through two MCP servers, a step TraderEvolution had taken in January.

The Store has also become a paid channel. In August, Spotware added weekly to annual subscriptions for cBots, indicators and plugins, with a 30% commission on paid products.

It currently lists 19 plugins that run on every cTrader app and 59 that work only on the desktop versions.

Prop firms get a separate pitch, with plugins shaped around a firm's challenge rules, trader journeys and risk requirements, according to Spotware.

Evaluation firms on cTrader include Hola Prime, which added cTrader for its funded traders in June. That came more than two years after MetaQuotes restricted prop firms' access to MetaTrader in February 2024.
