Alpari has announced that it is aiming a new initiative at prospective clients of the brokerage that are interested in opening an account that is using the MetaTrader 5 trading platform. The initiative comes a week after the company decided to enable hedging for MT5. The offer to new and existing clients of Alpari is valid for a period of three months, with the previous minimum deposit requirement amounting to $500.
The push comes amid the continuation of a major effort by MetaQuotes to make the end users of the platform migrate to MetaTrader 5. With the company showcasing the hedging option at the upcoming iFX Expo later this week, a number of end-users could finally make the switch after years of availability of the MT5 platform.

The presentation of MetaQuotes at the expo will also aim to identify the advantages of the 5th generation of the platform when compared to MetaTrader 4. During the event, the company will also demonstrate the web version of the MetaTrader 5 Platform, which also supports the the hedging option.
Commenting on the most recent changes to the MT5 platform, the CEO of MetaQuotes, Renat Fatkhulin, said: “The MetaTrader 5 desktop and mobile platforms, as well as its web version, now support the widely demanded hedging option. Every forex and exchange trader can access all the necessary tools for comfortable trading from one MetaTrader 5 platform.”
