The new initiative will see everyday traders gaining the same levels of rates as high-frequency-traders, in essence allowing for a more versatile approach, given the reduced costs of trading. In conjunction with the new rates alteration, Tradeview has also offered a refund opportunity for the first month of equities trading on its platform

More specifically, commissions are eligible for refund during the first 30 days of trading on Tradeview. The rollout of the new rates is important for both novice and experienced traders namely as they can utilize commissions that place it far below other platforms or service providers, ultimately allowing greater fluidity of trading and frequency. The new pricing schedule will see rates as low as $0.50 per trade for 1000 shares, with additional opportunities to earn rebates when adding liquidity, among other options.
