TigerWit Limited, a global fintech company based in the United Kingdom, announced on Monday that it is now the official Forex trading partner of Liverpool FC. The news coincides with the firm launching its Blockchain -based trading app.

Liverpool FC is one of the world’s most well-known football clubs. Throughout its history, the club has won eighteen League Titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups, five European Cups, three UEFA Cups, three European Super Cups, and fifteen Charity Shields. Now, TigerWit joins the ranks of Standard Chartered, Western Union, Carlsberg, Malaysian Airlines and many more as official sponsors of Liverpool FC.

Because of Liverpool’s global attraction, the partnership will no doubt help TigerWit attract clients for its operations and generate interest for its new trading app. Through the app, which is built on blockchain-based settlement technology, customers have access to key global markets where they can trade forex, indices, commodities, and metals.

Tigerwit Is Utilising the Popularity of Football to Increase Brand Awareness

Sports sponsorships are a popular way for forex companies and firms within the financial industry to generate interest and increase their brand awareness. The football industry, in particular, attracts a solid number of sponsorships from the industry. The main reason for this is, of course, the huge popularity the sport has across the world, with football having around a 4.7 billion cumulative audience across 202 countries.
