Juno Markets, an Asia focused global brokerage, has announced today that it has established a new team that will deliver actionable insights based on big data to its partners and IB’s. The dedicated team will be called Juno Data Labs and will be based in Hong Kong’s IT hub, Cyberport.
Juno Markets was created with a specific focus on partnerships, and the IB program most of all. As such, today’s launch of the Juno Data Labs is hailed by the broker as an important addition to the suite of services available to its IBs.
Morten Fillipsen, co-CEO of Juno Markets, elaborates on the new team: “Having worked with data intelligence in this industry prior to founding Juno Markets, I know the impact that properly analyzed data can have on a broker. Predicting client behavior and focusing your sales and retention team’s efforts can have a substantial effort on productivity.

As a broker, we are able to evaluate large sets of data, from trading history to website behavior, and some very clear patterns can be identified in these. Since we believe our partners know their local clients best, we feel that this insight will ultimately help them improve the service level and lead to a better experience for the client.”
As for examples of the type of analysis they will provide, the firm explains that the Juno Data Labs team works with IBs to help them to identify top performing clients, struggling clients in need of some assistance, clients with more potential, etc.
Additional insights will be around service related issues such as “what is the best time to contact my client?” or determining customer service staffing needs as part of the standard recommendations. Juno Data Labs’ services are free of charge for all IBs.
