Following the acquisition of German-based ACON bank, JFD Brokers, a multi-asset broker, announced this Thursday that it has introduced commission-free stock trading conditions for its clients.

Effective immediately, both new and existing clients of the broker can trade real stocks without incurring any fees, without limitations. There are no restrictions for the latest offer, such as clients needing to make a number of trades, meet minimum volumes or incur additional monthly fees, the company outlined.

With the latest announcement, JFD Brokers joins a small group of brokers who offer commission-free trading. At present this group consists of Trading 212, a London-headquartered brokerage who launched commission free trading in the Forex and CFD brokerage space in September 2018 and BUX, a trading application.

“It has always been our goal to be at the forefront of fintech innovation and offer the best possible service for traders and investors. Cutting all commissions for stock trading is just the first step in our long-term vision to become a preferred financial service provider,” said Lars Gottwik, founder and CEO of JFD Brokers.

Commission-free trading is a recent innovation in the FX and CFD space, which was in part due to recent regulatory restrictions by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) which has forced brokers to change-up the product mix offered by brokers. With this move, it appears that JFD Brokers, like Trading 212 did before, is betting that physical stock trading will play a larger role in the sector.

“JFD is mostly comprised of forward-thinking Millennials and we know what the new generation expects when it comes to finance, technology and customer service,” the CEO of JFD Brokers added.

JFD Brokers Adds Dutch Stocks to Portfolio

In addition to introducing zero-commission trading on stocks, JFD Brokers also announced today that it has added new instruments to its portfolio. From today, clients now have access to Dutch stocks via its MetaTrader 5 and Guidants platforms.

With this new addition, the company now provides access to more than 600 real stocks from Germany, Netherlands, and the USA. However, the broker doesn’t just facilitate trading in stocks; it also offers forex and CFD trading on ETFs, indices, commodities, Cryptocurrencies , and bonds.
