As part of the deal, the firm's logo will be placed on the front-side of all Team England polo shirts as the team’s main sponsor, ahead of its match against AwakeConBal Team South Africa this Friday in London. The team is now called ICM Capital Team England.

The company is already listed as an international team sponsor on the polointheparklondon.com website, and the related match is taking place this Friday at Hurlingham Park where ICM will gain its initial exposure from the new sponsorship.

ICM Capital director Shoaib Abedi commented: “We’re very proud to be the Official Sponsors of the England Polo Team with our logo on the front of their shirt.

Commenting regarding the deal, David Woodd, CEO of Hurlingham Polo Association, the UK’s governing body for polo, said: “The ICM Capital England Team are really looking forward to representing their country at Chestertons Polo in the Park in what is bound to be an extremely exciting match on June 3^rd.”

ICM had previously sponsored football team Nottingham Forest and said that a continuation of sports sponsorships was a natural progression of for ICM Capital’s branding strategy. The announcement also seems to coincide with the iFX Expo 2016, after the company had previously saved an announcement for the event as covered by Finance Magnates last year.
