Commenting regarding the deal, David Woodd, CEO of Hurlingham Polo Association, the UK’s governing body for polo, said: “The ICM Capital England Team are really looking forward to representing their country at Chestertons Polo in the Park in what is bound to be an extremely exciting match on June 3rd.”
ICM had previously sponsored football team Nottingham Forest and said that a continuation of sports sponsorships was a natural progression of for ICM Capital’s branding strategy. The announcement also seems to coincide with the iFX Expo 2016, after the company had previously saved an announcement for the event as covered by Finance Magnates last year.
