Axiance, the new trading brand of the ICC Group, has announced today that it is sponsoring the Elena Nova yacht of Javier Sanz in the upcoming Copa del Rey de Vela regatta to be held at the Real Club Nautic in Palma de Mallorca.

With the new partnership, the multi-asset broker is further positioning itself as a company with strategic priorities in the environment and sustainability. Additionally, it points out the environmental-friendly nature of the sport of sailing.

Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Axiance CEO, Panikos Teklos said: “Axiance is a multi-asset online brokerage brand dedicated to ethical investment practices. We use the power of our technology the same way this boat will harness the wind to race and compete, creating real value and fueling our ambition to set the standard in responsible finance.”

A New Trend in the Trading Industry

Axiance is set to be launched in the summer of 2021 and will eventually phase out the ICC Group’s existing brokerage brand, EverFX.

The new broker will initiate its operations with a license obtained from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC ). It will passport its CIF license to offer services across various markets in the European Economic Area. Moreover, it has plans to obtain additional licenses, the DFSA license is likely to be the next one.

The broker is tapping into the growing trend of investment into environment-friendly businesses.

“It is time for the Online Trading industry to go beyond compliance and tread lighter in social and environmental terms,” Teklos said earlier.

In June, the Cypriot broker signed cyclist Antri Christoforou just ahead of her appearance in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Christoforou participated in the Women’s cycling road race in the ongoing Olympics but failed to bag a medal.
