ADS Securites' new upgrade includes spread-betting functionality for its UK clients.
Bloomberg
As part of an emphasis on more innovative trading capabilities for its UK clients, ADS Securities London has rolled out a new upgrade to its proprietary OREX Trading Platform. The new upgrade includes spread-betting functionality that is compatible across both Android and iOS devices and caters to UK clients using desktop and mobile apps.
ADS Securities latest upgrade of its OREX trading platform will help garner more trading options for its UK clientele than ever before. The OREX SB update includes the support of spread-betting capabilities, which provides a unified platform for all UK investors.
Jason Hughes, Global Head of Retail Sales at ADS Securities, commented: “The launch of this upgrade demonstrates our continued commitment to investing in technology and innovation at a time when other trading firms are cutting back on development work or are prepared to use mass market solutions.”

The OREX trading platform already features a number of features collectively offering an advanced trading experience that touches on a variety of markets. In addition to the newly adopted spread-betting functionality, OREX SB will also entail several other enhancements to its interface. This includes a wider range of capabilities across its mobile app supporting ADS Securities’ full product suite.
The OREX SB update is available across both desktop and the OREX mobile app, compatible with Android and iOS devices. “Our ethos as a business is to continually look to improve the trading experience and solutions we deliver to our clients; meaning we invest in our systems, Risk Management and we are always developing products that traders are looking for,” explained Mr. Hughes.
“In today’s world investors require access to their portfolio at a moment’s notice, our OREX platform with its mobile app provides an exceptional trading experience with access to a full range of products and assets. The addition of spread-betting now makes OREX SB the perfect trading platform for all UK investors,” he added.
ADS Securities made headlines earlier this week, becoming one of the first brokerages to introduce Bitcoin contracts-for-difference (CFD) trading in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region via its MT4 platform.
The MENA region has been an area of emphasis for ADS Securities in terms of product focus and market penetration – Finance Magnates recently interviewed ADS Securities’ Managing Director and Global Head of Sales, Mathieu Ghanem, who touched on the group’s ambitions in the region.

In this conversation, we sit down with Drew Niv, CSO at ATFX Connect and one of the most influential figures in modern FX.
We speak about market structure, the institutional view on liquidity, and the sharp rise of prop trading, a sector Drew has been commenting on in recent months. Drew explains why he once dismissed prop trading, why his view changed, and what he now thinks the model means for brokers, clients and risk managers.
We explore subscription-fee dependency, the high reneging rate, and the long-term challenge: how brokers can build a more stable and honest version of the model. Drew also talks about the traffic advantage standalone prop firms have built and why brokers may still win in the long run if they take the right approach.
