Exclusive: John Miesner Leaves Hotspot after 14 Years at the Firm
- Forex Magnates reporters have confirmed with a KCG Hotspot spokesperson that John Miesner will be leaving the firm after serving as Managing Director and Head of Sales for almost 14 years.

Over the years, he held a variety of roles, helping make Hotspot into one of the market leaders. The company’s spokesperson declined to comment further on who might be Mr Miesner's eventual replacement.
According to sources close to Forex Magnates, aside from marking the best trading week this year, last Thursday’s ECB press conference surpassed all previous daily volume records and will be registered (for now) as the best single trading day on record for KCG Hotspot, with $56 billion changing hands on the 4th of September.
