The new extension, available for free on the Magento-Connect extension store, will allow users to integrate Optimal Payments’ NETBANX payment gateway. The NETBANX gateway seamlessly integrates Optimal Payments’ ThreatMetrix fraud prevention and management system, and will automatically reduce the amount of incoming fraudulent orders.

The system also allows for operational tasks such as order hold and release capabilities, as well as allowing refunding, cancelling and crediting of orders. All of these features are accessible directly through the Magento Ecommerce platform.

Optimal Payments’ solution will provide a PCI-level-1 compliant environment, and they will store all card data themselves, therefore significantly reducing PCI compliance requirements from Magento merchants.

In addition to providing the new comprehensive extension, Optimal Payments has also become a Magento Silver Industry Partner. The Magento Silver Industry Partner program will allow optimal payments to reach, market and provide solutions directly to Magento’s Ecommerce platform developers.
