eToro is inviting active traders to Edge, a desktop terminal that puts charts, news, positions and orders on one screen, it said today (Monday). Edge runs on the same account as the eToro mobile app, so portfolios and trade history carry over.

eToro unveiled Edge at its London product event on July 7, when the press release described it in a single line as a desktop app for active traders. Monday's post sets out the tools and invites users to sign in.

London's trading industry is coming home!

The terminal is pitched at the clients who trade most. eToro's capital markets trades held flat at 48.5 million in the second quarter. Funded accounts rose 18% from a year earlier to 4.28 million, while the average amount invested per trade fell 23% on the year to $207.

Rivals Rolled Out Desktop Terminals in 2024 and 2025

Robinhood introduced Legend, a browser-based platform with advanced charting and custom layouts, at its first HOOD Summit in October 2024.

Seven months later it took Legend to the UK, free for any Robinhood account holder, with about 6,000 US stocks and options contracts.

Morgan Stanley's E*TRADE piloted Power E*TRADE Pro, a separate desktop client with up to 120 tools across six screens, in April 2025, aiming it at its most active customers.

Edge spans stocks, ETFs and crypto, plus CFDs where they are available. eToro also says clients can trade select markets, including gold, oil and major indices, around the clock, depending on region.

A Sentiment Layer Drawn From eToro's Own Clients

The feature eToro singles out comes from its client base. Edge shows how millions of other eToro investors are positioned, next to the chart, a layer of market sentiment the company calls unique.

Charts run on TradingView, which eToro first brought into its platform in March 2023. The terminal adds screeners, linked watchlists, alerts, and limit, stop loss, take profit and trailing stop orders, and every panel can be dragged, resized or removed.

Some of that was already on the desktop site. Last December, eToro let users open and manage trades from full-screen charts without switching views.

The company presents the two products as a pair, with the app built for quick decisions on the move.

"eToro Edge is the desk that matches it," eToro wrote in the post.

Longer trading hours are not new for eToro, which expanded 24/5 trading to every S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 stock in November 2025.

Edge also follows Agent Portfolios, which eToro began rolling out in March to let clients connect their own AI agents to a ring-fenced sub-account. Clients reach the terminal at edge.etoro.com with their existing eToro login.
