Big data and Analytics have continued to take the financial services industry by storm, with brokers, banks, and other venues relying on advanced data and analytics solutions. In its latest collaboration, Interactive Brokers has integrated TipRanks’ Stock Analysis Tool-Kit suite into its online Trading Platform.
TipRanks has been aggressively expanding the market footprint of its Stock Analysis Tool-Kit in 2017 as part of an ongoing effort to provide new research and analysis capabilities to venues. Earlier this year, Nasdaq and Santander both assimilated the service into their respective offerings, giving TipRanks access to its largest client base to date.
TipRanks has carved out a niche as a provider of aggregated big financial data – such information is extremely important to a growing base of stock traders in the US and abroad. For its part, Interactive Brokers’ online trading platform will now feature TipRanks’ Stock Analysis Tool-Kit, which will enable traders to track the latest stock news sentiment and activity by the leading analysts.
Uri Gruenbaum
Uri Gruenbaum, CEO of TipRanks, commented: “I am very proud about our new partnership with Interactive Brokers, one of the strongest brands in the industry. Many of our retail investors use IB as their execution platform and the new partnership will make their life easier and make our tools available to many new investors.”
Ratings and analysis from the 'Street'
In particular, the new partnership will include the adoption of TipRanks’ comprehensive financial analytics capabilities directly into Interactive Brokers’ platform. The toolkit offers stock ratings and price targets from a collection of ranked analysts as well as analyses of the latest news sentiment.
The challenge to date has not been the collection of large data streams but rather their processing – as such, the demand for a streamlined analysis tool is at a premium amongst brokers and other venues. The focus of the newly integrated offering will cover all equities listed in North America. TipRank’s Stock Analysis Tool-Kit is a departure from other proprietary NLP algorithms given its ability to process large swaths of analyst research, news and commentary.
“We are very excited about the partnership and look forward to bringing the latest interactive research tools to our customers. Big data and news analysis is increasingly seen as a fundamental part of investing research and now all our traders will have access to one of the best tools on the market,” explained Mr. Yochai Korn, Head of Market Data at Interactive Brokers LLC.

Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav sits down with Finance Magnates to discuss the core technology challenges facing CFD brokers and proprietary trading firms today.
Jadhav explains how the industry's reliance on batch processing and fragmented systems (where CRMs, risk tools, and trading platforms operate with separate 'sources of truth') leads to delayed data and inconsistent operational decisions. He argues that real-time event processing is essential for managing fast-moving trading activity and risk.
Learn how Altima's unified, event-driven architecture, connecting Altima CRM, Altima Prop, IB systems, and risk management through a single backbone, is designed to provide synchronous data and better operational coordination for modern brokerage and prop firm stacks.
Key Topics:
- Broker and Prop Firm Data Challenges
- The problem of delayed data processing (batch processing vs. real-time events)
- Fragmented systems and conflicting data sources
- Altima's unified, event-driven solution architecture
- The concept of a "risk-aware CRM"
- Built-in risk management in Altima Prop
