smartTrade Technologies has named Christophe Montane its new Chief Commercial Officer, effective July 1, 2025. The move follows a strategic investment by TA Associates in April 2025, which aimed to fuel smartTrade’s growth across key financial markets worldwide.
To Drive Sales and Marketing Globally
Montane, based in New York, will lead the company’s global sales and marketing operations. His role focuses on driving smartTrade’s growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, enhancing the company’s customer-centric commercial approach.
David Vincent, CEO and Co-Founder of smartTrade, highlighted that Montane’s global sales leadership experience is critical to executing their vision of delivering a fully integrated front-office trading and payments platform.
With over 20 years in senior sales roles at companies including SS&C Intralinks, Fujifilm Business Innovation, and Xerox Corporation, Montane brings extensive expertise in scaling sales organizations and generating sustainable revenue growth across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
“Christophe’s appointment is a pivotal step in executing our long-term vision,” commented David Vincent, CEO and Co-Founder of smartTrade Technologies. “Our partnership with TA Associates provides the resources to accelerate our growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Christophe’s extensive experience in leading global commercial teams is precisely what we need to execute on that vision and deliver a fully integrated front-office experience for our clients worldwide.”
