Leading multi-asset trading platform, Vantage announced the appointment of Nadine Azzam, the former Vice President of Sales at Equiti Group, as the company’s Head of MENA today. In her new role, Azzam will take care of Vantage’s expansion in the MENA region.

With more than 12 years of experience in the FX brokerage industry, Azzam has a strong grip over key client management skills. During her career, she managed several high-net-worth (HNW) clients from the UAE.

The newly appointed Head of MENA joins Vantage from XTB International, where she worked as the Senior Business Relationship Manager. Previously, Azzam worked with ADS Securities and Amana Capital.

“Joining Vantage was an easy decision to make. Together I believe that we can bring better opportunities to regional investors with flexible services, swap-free transactions, and products that leverage high technology. I’ve always had the vision to improve the services that our industry is offering in the MENA region and with a trusted firm like Vantage I believe that we can put that into action,” Azzam commented on her appointment.

In August 2021, Geraldine Goh joined Vantage as Global Marketing Director. In September, the multi-asset trading platform hired Eoh You Loong as APAC Regional Strategy Director.

MENA Region

During the announcement of Azzam's appointment, Marc Despallieres, the Chief Strategy Officer at Vantage, outlined the importance of the MENA region in Vantage’s global growth strategy.

“We see a lot of opportunity in the MENA region where clients are seeking a trustworthy and regulated broker. At present, our market share is relatively small, and with Nadine’s experience in UAE as well as her insights into the top-notch brokers in the region, we are confident she will be able to bring our business to new heights, and better cater to the underserved clients in UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. We believe Nadine will be an indispensable addition to the Vantage family,” Despallieres said.
