The new hires cap off a new digital strategy for Traydstream, which has strengthened its personnel and focus in its technology, product development, and agent relations. Founded in 2015, this hiring round represents the London-based group’s largest expansion to date in terms of personnel.
Ray Sherry joins Traydstream as its newest Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He comes over with over three decades of technology experience in the financial industry and other sectors. Over the course of his decorated career, he has worked at a number of senior roles in the banking realm.
His past roles have included an emphasis on early stage business development, making him ideally suited for Traydstream’s new role to spearhead its technology initiatives. In this capacity, Mr. Sherry will also help steer the group’s technology capabilities, including its IT architecture and digital solutions for operations across upwards of continents.
Matteo Bocchi Bianchi will serve in a newly created role of Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) and Head of New Partnerships. Mr. Bianchi has worked primarily as a financial engineer with over 12 years of experience within corporate banking and strategy space.
Finally, Sante Zampini is joining Traydstream as its Head of Agent Relations. Over the course of his career, Mr. Zampini has been a mainstay in the corporate banking space for American financial institutions in both the US and Italy for over thirty years.
He has been involved primarily in relationship management and sales, including marquee business development and deal origination. At Traydstream, Mr. Zampini will be tasked with managing the rollout of a network of high-level agents operating globally, working with banks and large corporations.
Matteo Bocchi Bianchi
Mr. Bianchi commented: “In this climate, Traydstream’s artificially intelligent platform is poised to be a pivotal player in huge cost reductions. By digitalising Trade Finance documentation, extracting the data intelligently and validating the transaction data against a library of Trade Rules and Compliance checks, Traydstream aim to reduce banks’ compliance overheads by up to 60%.”
“We are delighted with the new hires and I am looking forward to working closely with Ray to shape our technology offering in this new digital and innovative space,” explained Gary Bhattacharjee, Traydstream’s Technology Board Advisor.
