Michael Buzzeo

Michael Buzzeo, Pond5

Michael Buzzeo, who had been a marketing specialist at FXCM brokerage, has joined Pond5, a New York based online marketplace, as its new Director of Performance Marketing. Pond5 is a media company which specializes in graphics, imaging, and music. Buzzeo steps into this role after a long career at FXCM, where he held a number of senior positions since 2004.

David Pagliaro, State Street Corporation

State Street Corporation announced David Pagliaro as its new Head of State Street Global Exchange for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new position he will report to John Plansky the Head of Global of State Street Global Exchange and Liz Nolan, the Co-Head of Global Services for EMEA. Pagliaro has stepped into this role with 20 years of experience and after serving in a number of senior positions at leading companies.

Gaelle Cohen, Morgan Stanley

Gaelle Cohen, a Forex trading veteran, has reportedly joined the London based unit of Stanley Morgan. Cohen has held a senior position at the Credit Suisse forex options desk for more than three years. Furthermore, Cohen has been in the forex options industry since she joined French bank Credit Agricole back in 2005. Cohen held a role for two years at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein before joining CIBC Capital Markets for a short while in 2012.

Jason Pealy, Nomura

Jason Pealy has left his role as the Vice President and Forex Options Trader at Nomura’s forex unit, which belongs to the Japanese financial titan. Pealy has stepped down from his role after eight years of working with the company. He previously work at the firm’s New York unit as the Vice President and Senior Forex Options Trader, where he originally started. Pealy has also held the role of Associate of Global Rates, Currencies, and Commodities at Bank of America between 2006 and 2009, where he focused on Forex Trading , as well.

Simon Roberts and Stephen Ayme, Admiral Markets UK Ltd.

Admiral Markets UK Ltd., the London based brokerage, announced its hiring of Simon Roberts as General Manager. The company, which is regulated by the FCA, has also hired Stephen Ayme, a regulation expert, as the Head of the Compliance Department. Before coming to work with Admiral Markets UK Ltd., Roberts served as the Business Development Consultant at Windsor Brokers, a Cyprus based forex online trading firm. He was also the Managing Director at SCP Consultants Limited, a position he is said to have at his new workplace. Ayme recently held a position as a Compliance Officer and MLRO at JCI Capital Limited. He has also served at senior regulatory roles prior to his former job.

Jane Galvin and Ian Tandy, HSBC UK

HSBC UK has appointed Jane Galvin as the Head of Corporate Banking, and Ian Tandy as the Head of Global Trade and Receivable Finance. Prior to her new position, Galvin was the Managing Director of Barclays corporate banking. She had been with Barclays since 2006, where she held a number of management and directorial roles. Tandy has been working at the international banking firm since 2008. Before reaching his new role, Tandy filled various management positions. One of the latter was his position as Co-Head Corporate Banking in the London area, beginning in November 2014.

Illit Geller, TradAir

Illit Geller

Illit Geller, the co-founder and CEO of TradAir, decided to step down from her role in the company. Geller will still be a member of the company’s board of directors. Said board has recently began looking for a new CEO to fill the position, while co-founder Ayal Jedeikin and other senior executive managers will temporarily take over leading the company.

Christopher Peter Long, GCM Prime

Christopher Peter Long stepped down from his role of Director at the prime of prime brokerage GCM Prime. This move follows Long’s recently having joined the board of EGR Broking, a London based stockbroker firm. Long serves as a board member in a number of companies as well. He has worked at GCM Prime since 2011, and resigned after six years on June 5. Long further holds a directorial role at the fintech companies FHWM, Interest Me P2P, FW Holdings, LPL Finance Return Over Time, Too Long Investments, Titan Black Group, and Wise Pension Group.
