Mr. Robinson joined ThinkMarkets back in January 2016, having worked for the duration if his tenure in London. His short stint at the group marked his first role with an FX venue since 2013, as he worked for several other companies over the past few years in other various channels of the financial services industry.
This included roles at Lifeways Group as a Senior Statutory Accountant and Manager at PwC Australia in Australia. Additionally, he worked as a Financial Controller and MLRO at GKFX in the UK for over three years, among other roles dating back to 2003, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
The departure is the first marquee move at ThinkMarkets, with the group being relatively quiet on the personnel front in 2017. The company recently made headlines after it announced a series of changes to its ThinkTrader mobile app via the implementation of Neumob’s SDK, an app acceleration framework.
